This is 100% true. Your 'day' and the things that fill it all contribute to you as a writer. My work as a deckhand on the San Francisco Bay ferries gave me the background and ideas to write my first novel (completed) and the second one, which is now in editing phase. Some days the frustration with work is there, but in the long run, it all adds up to a rich life.

My parent carer experience led me to writing. And it makes it haphazard and infrequent but it’s what fuels it too. I totally agree x
